Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Expects 35% Fair Trade Certified Coffee Sales By FY08

10/3/2006 7:17:44 AM Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (GMCR) released its first corporate social responsibility report, "From Understanding to Action," outlining the Company's economic, environmental and social performance for fiscal 2005.

The company also revealed its goal of achieving 35% Fair Trade Certified coffee sales, as a percentage of total coffee pounds shipped, by fiscal 2008. The company said it offset 100% of its direct greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing carbon offsets.
