Marketing Fair Trade Certified Flowers

- For information on how the Fair Trade Certified label can be used on sleeves, stems, point of purchase materials or other marketing materials, as well as how it can be used on mixed bouquets and arrangements, please review our Mixed Bouquet and Flower Labeling Policy.
Training Staff in Retail about Fair Trade (for Retail Store Managers)
- Talk about Fair Trade in a morning meeting to all staff.
- Post an explanation of Fair Trade in your internal store newsletters.
- Announce Fair Trade events in your local area.
- Ask employees to do a presentation on Fair Trade for example:
- Have 3 – 4 employees volunteer to do like a show and tell where they present a product that is Fair Trade
- Discuss the features and benefits of the product
- Ask staff why they think it will sell well or why it has been selling well
- Discuss who is the competition, how are they priced and how are they promoting the item that is unique
- Download this training card and hand out to staff personally or in their mailboxes.
- Order posters from our POS marketing materials and put up not only on the sales floor but also in breakroom areas or staff areas.
