Trade Certified™ products growing in mainstream
grocery
Roaster partner Equal Exchange (EE) recently announced
that all 140 Albertson's Supermarkets in Washington
and Oregon have begun to stock four of EE's most popular
packaged Fair Trade Certified coffees: Organic Breakfast Blend, Organic
French Roast, Organic Mind Body and Soul blend, and
Organic Decaf. These will be the first Fair Trade Certified products
carried by Albertson's, the nation's third largest supermarket
retailer. |

Trade Certified chocolate expanding
For all those wanting to make Fair Trade Certified hot chocolate and Fair Trade Certified
mochas, Fair Trade Certified cocoa powder is now available from partner

Divine Fair Trade chocolate bars are now available for
sale in the US, imported by SERRV. This brand is co-owned
by Kuapa Kokoo, a Fair Trade Certified cocoa cooperative
in Ghana, providing added value back to cocoa growers.

text stickers
New "Fair Trade Certified" stickers with a brief descriptive
text are now available to our roaster partners. At 1"
x 3" the new stickers are a bit smaller than the previous
text stickers, but still contain the same descriptive
text, "By choosing this Fair Trade Certified product…
You are directly supporting a better life for farming
families through fair prices, direct trade, community
development and environmental stewardship". When you need
Fair Trade Certified stickers, please fill out the sticker
request form (we can email or fax it to you) and fax the
completed form to Jade Huang, Certification Manager, at
